Your role

• Monitor and maintain SQL Server databases (2012 and above).
• Perform routine database backups, restores, and recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues using tools like SQL Profiler, Extended Events, and DMVs.
• Implement and maintain database security (roles, permissions, encryption).
• Assist in database deployments, patching, and upgrades.
• Design and implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions (AlwaysOn, Log Shipping, Replication, Clustering).
  
  

Your profile

• 4 - 12 years experience as SQL Database Administraton.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2012–2019/2022).
• Proficiency in T-SQL, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
• Understanding of database backup strategies and recovery models.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Redgate, SolarWinds, SentryOne).
