Job Description

  1. Configuration, implementation and sustainment of Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHS&S) Management Information Systems (EMIS) - SpheraCloud, Sphera EA, Sphera COW & Sphera HSM, & SCCS.
  2. Assisting in migrating data from legacy systems to SpheraCloud, including providing templates and performing data validation during implementation.
  3. Engagement in all life cycle stages of project execution; planning, system configuration, integration, hypercare, support, maintenance, enhancement, and improvements as required to meet overall objectives of users.
  4. Identify the events such as Incident / Near miss / Haz. Observation / Risk Assessment / CAPA / Audit & Inspection Management / Management of Change. Customize Solutions on Environmental Accounting part with the help of Sphera Essential Suit, Sphera EA Cloud.
  5. Creation of Node / Node Type / Equation / Reference Library / Bulk Import Onboarding Tool / Qlik Report.
  6. Hands experience with Air Emissions (SOx, NOx, CO, O2, CO2, Particulate Matter, GHG – Co2, NOx & CH4)/Water/Waste/Soil/Ground water/ & Energy modules
  7. Regulatory compliance monitoring to ensuring that software product compliance suite, remains up-to-date with changing global regulations, providing 24/7 technical support, training "power users",
  8. Monitoring system performance, using reporting tools to validate data, and utilizing analytics dashboards to improve decision-making.
  9. Expertise with Sphera EA and end to end project implementation for Oil and Gas industry. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • System Configuration and Maintenance: Responsible for maintaining the HMMS (Hazardous Material Management System) application, software, and system configurations, including managing user access, and upgrading system performance.
  • Data Integrity and Quality Assurance: Conducting regular audits of CAGE/Company information and chemical data to ensure accuracy. This involves verifying SDS (Safety Data Sheet) entries, reconciling data in HMMS, and maintaining data governance.
  • Workflow and Template Configuration: Implementing, configuring, and maintaining SpheraCloud and other software modules to fit specific client needs, including setting up standardized workflows for EHS and risk management.
  • Data Migration and Integration: Assisting in migrating data from legacy systems to SpheraCloud, including providing templates and performing data validation during implementation.
  • Technical Support and Training: Providing 24/7 technical support, training "power users" in a "train-the-trainer" format, and facilitating user access and training documentation.
  • Regulatory Compliance Monitoring: Ensuring that software, such as the Product Compliance suite, remains up-to-date with changing global regulations (e.g., GHS, REACH) and providing audit-proof records.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitoring system performance, using reporting tools to validate data, and utilizing analytics dashboards to improve decision-making Key Roles and Responsibilities of Sphera Software Administration:

Key Responsibilities

  • Data collection and validation from across the organization and feed into emissions calculations using expressions/emissions factors.
  • User access management – controlling user rights, defining roles and accounts for stakeholders
  • Reviewing, configuring, and updating pre-defined templates for emissions reporting
  • Creating reports, dashboard and visualization of operations data
  • Resolving system issues and providing technical support to users


Work Experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with experience in environmental science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 -15 years of experience in system administration, emissions monitoring, data management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Understanding of EHS, LCA and overall Sustainability methodologies
  • Familiarity with EPA guidelines and emission factors.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
