Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

Join our dynamic team as a Specialist: UI/UX Designer and play a key role in shaping intuitive, user-centered digital experiences. In this role, you will design and enhance user interfaces for cutting-edge software applications, working closely with senior designers to translate business requirements into seamless, engaging user journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design intuitive, visually engaging user interfaces and user experiences for software applications, ensuring optimal usability and appeal
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups to effectively communicate design concepts to internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct comprehensive user research, including interviews and usability testing, to generate insights aligned with agreed design principles
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions align with business and project objectives
  • Participate in design reviews, offering constructive feedback and working collaboratively to address design challenges and ensure alignment
  • Contribute to sprint planning by estimating, prioritising, and delivering user stories within agreed timelines, while adapting to evolving requirements
  • Plan and execute usability testing sessions to evaluate and validate design effectiveness
  • Analyse user and stakeholder feedback, translating insights into continuous design improvements and enhanced user satisfaction
  • Maintain and contribute to design standards, frameworks, and guidelines to ensure consistency across all products and platforms
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation in design solutions
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Facilitate design workshops and design sprints to align stakeholders and generate innovative ideas
  • Document design processes, decisions, and user feedback to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
  • Deliver user-centric design solutions that meet customer needs, add business value, and contribute to overall product success
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, supporting their growth through feedback, coaching, and development opportunities


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design,
  • Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
  • Relevant industry certifications e.g., Certified UX
  • Designer


Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant working experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a demonstrated ability to deliver effective design solutions
  • Expertise in creating and implementing user-centric design solutions
  • Experience in working on design projects in a professional environment and collaborating with cross functional teams
  • Additional coursework or training in UX design methodologies or tools is a plus


Skills :

  • Proficiency in User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design
  • Proficient in using design software (e.g.: Figma and other tools)
  • Basic knowledge of responsive design principles and accessibility standards
  • Familiarity with user research and usability testing methods
