Technical Consultant

Job Summary

The Technical Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting technical solutions across the Manhattan WMS platform and integrated systems. The role involves enabling system integrations, supporting deployments, troubleshooting technical issues, and working closely with development, infrastructure, and client IT teams to ensure reliable and scalable warehouse management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and support technical architecture and system integrations for Manhattan WMS.
• Configure and maintain interfaces, APIs, message queues, and data flows.
• Support deployments, technical extensions, reports, and production releases.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, and infrastructure-related issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support production readiness, system monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.
• Ensure technical solutions align with logistics best practices and business requirements.
  
  

Must Have Skills

• Strong experience with Manhattan WMS platform.
• Good understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and logistics processes.
• Experience with system integrations and upstream/downstream applications.
• Hands-on experience with PL/SQL and Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, FTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP protocols.
• Experience with Java scripting and Python scripting.
• Familiarity with Postman, Git, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
  

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with automated warehousing solutions.
• Knowledge of third-party logistics (3PL) integrations.
• Understanding of messaging technologies and middleware.
• Exposure to cloud-based integration platforms.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and infrastructure.
• Experience in technical documentation and deployment support.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
