Role Description

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and managing cloud environments (Azure and AWS). The role emphasizes reliability, scalability, and security in cloud deployments and requires strong experience in automation and Infrastructure as Code

Core Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipeline Management Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.

Infrastructure Automation Automate provisioning using Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.

Cloud Operations Manage and optimize cloud environments for performance, cost, and reliability.

Implement containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes or ECS.

Monitoring & Security Use tools like Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana for observability.

Enforce security best practices across cloud infrastructure.

Collaboration Work closely with development and QA teams to streamline deployments.

Required Skills

Technical Expertise:

Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS services.

Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Soft Skills

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience

Minimum 5+ years in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles.

Certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are a plus
