Role Purpose
The Regional HR Operations Manager is responsible for managing and executing end-to-end HR operational processes across the assigned region. This role ensures seamless HR service delivery, statutory compliance, policy implementation, and employee lifecycle management while partnering with business leaders to support organizational goals.

Job Title: Specialist – Regional HR
Location: Pune
Role Purpose
The Regional HR Operations Manager is responsible for managing and executing end-to-end HR operational processes across the assigned region. This role ensures seamless HR service delivery, statutory compliance, policy implementation, and employee lifecycle management while partnering with business leaders to support organizational goals.
Duties And Responsibilities
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits across the region.
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of HR transactions in HRMS.
- Oversee documentation, employee records, and data integrity.
- Act as the primary HR touchpoint for employees, ensuring high responsiveness.
- Conduct regular floor walks and employee listening sessions.
- Capture employee feedback, identify trends, and share insights with HR leadership.
- Collaborate with managers to proactively resolve employee concerns.
- Own and track key HR metrics such as attrition, attendance, manpower analytics, performance cycle progress, etc.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to support strategic business decisions.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly HR reports with high accuracy and data-based insights.
- Coordinate regional payroll inputs and ensure payroll accuracy in collaboration with payroll vendors/finance.
- Manage employee benefits such as PF, ESIC, gratuity, insurance, and leave administration.
- Resolve payroll and benefits-related employee queries.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws (CLRA, Shops & Establishment Act, PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus, etc.).
- Manage inspections, audits, and statutory filings for the region.
- Implement HR policies, SOPs, and processes consistently across locations.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and domestic inquiries where required.
- Promote a positive employee experience and healthy workplace culture.
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for regional business leaders and employees.
- Support manpower planning, attrition analysis, and workforce metrics.
- Provide HR operational insights and reports to leadership.
- Manage HR vendors (payroll, background verification, staffing, compliance consultants).
- Coordinate with corporate HR, finance, legal, and admin teams.
- Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement of HR processes.
- Support HR system upgrades and new initiatives.
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent
- 8–12 years of experience in HR Operations, preferably in a multi-location or regional role
- Experience in handling large employee bases
- Hands-on experience with HR operations and payroll management
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- High attention to detail and process orientation
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
- Proficiency in MS Excel
