We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with at least 5 years of professional experience in handling end-to-end accounting functions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
Conduct bank reconciliations and vendor/customer reconciliations
Handle TDS, GST, and other statutory compliance including timely filing of returns
Assist in preparing financial statements as per applicable accounting standards
Manage invoices, payments, petty cash, and employee reimbursements
Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits
Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and government regulations

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter / M.Com preferred but not mandatory)
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
Proficient in Tally ERP / SAP / QuickBooks or other accounting software
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements
Hands-on experience in preparing MIS reports and financial statements
Excellent Excel and MS Office skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
