What makes the role meaty?

• Identify, onboard, and manage fish and seafood suppliers across sourcing regions.
• Coordinate with vendors, fishermen, and aggregators to ensure consistent supply of fresh seafood.
• Monitor daily procurement, pricing, and quality standards of fish and seafood products.
• Work closely with quality, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Track market trends, seasonal availability, and pricing fluctuations in seafood markets.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards during sourcing.
• Support negotiations with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and supply continuity.
• Maintain accurate vendor records, procurement data, and sourcing reports.
• Travel to sourcing locations, landing centers, and markets when required.

We hope that you have..

• 1–3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain (preferably seafood, meat, or fresh produce).
• Basic understanding of fish varieties, seafood supply chains, and market dynamics.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operations environment.
• Willingness to travel to sourcing markets or coastal regions if required.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
