Solutions Architect

📍London or Birmingham | Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)

💰 £100-120k, 12-month fixed term

A major insurance transformation programme is underway and we’re looking for a Solutions Architect with strong London Market/Lloyd’s experience to play a key role in shaping it.

This is a key architecture role focused on building a modern, API-driven insurance ecosystem across customer platforms, policy administration, pricing, payments and data. You’ll have real influence across design decisions, integrations and technical direction from day one.

What you’ll be doing

• Defining end-to-end solution architecture across multiple systems
• Designing scalable API and integration patterns
• Working closely with engineering, delivery and third-party partners
• Owning data flows, technical standards and architectural governance
• Ensuring solutions are secure, resilient and fit for scale
• Supporting delivery through build, testing and go-live phases

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience as a Solutions Architect within insurance
• Proven experience designing API-driven, multi-system architectures
• Experience across customer platforms, PAS, pricing or quote & bind systems
• Strong understanding of Azure cloud environments and integration patterns
• Ability to challenge, influence and guide technical teams effectively
