Solution Architect ? Microsoft Azure Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade technology solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure . The successful candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, evaluate technology options, and provide technical leadership to ensure scalable, secure, and integrated solutions aligned with organizational objectives within the oil and gas industry. Key Responsibilities Design and implement end-to-end cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure services. Translate business requirements into well-structured technical architectures. Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, solution designs, and technical documentation. Lead system and application integrations to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout project lifecycles. Conduct regular reviews of existing solutions to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement. Develop proof of concepts to validate new technologies and solution approaches. Manage cloud service costs and ensure adherence to organizational security and compliance standards. Establish and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Required Qualifications Minimum of 15 years of relevant industry experience. Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. At least 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Software Engineer, preferably within the oil and gas sector. Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Functions, Azure DevOps, Data Factory, SQL Database, etc.). Strong knowledge of architecture styles, design patterns, and trade-off analysis. Proven ability to design secure, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud solutions. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification. Experience in data integration, data warehousing, and big data technologies. Exposure to IoT and edge computing solutions. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with machine learning techniques and analytics platforms. Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
