Role Overview
The Solution Architect plays a critical leadership role in ensuring that the GEP SMART solution design is cohesive, scalable, and aligned with the client’s business objectives, enterprise architecture, and technical standards. As the technical and functional design authority across modules, the Solution Architect bridges the gap between business needs, platform capabilities, and technical constraints to deliver an integrated and future-ready solution.
This role is responsible for owning the end-to-end solution architecture, validating module configurations, reviewing integrations and dependencies, and supporting governance through design assurance and sign-off processes.
Key Responsibilitie
- sLead the definition of the end-to-end solution architecture across GEP SMART module
- sEnsure cross-module consistency, interoperability, and alignment with enterprise architecture standard
- sValidate functional designs, configuration decisions, and integration touchpoint
- sCollaborate with functional consultants, integration teams, and client architects to ensure cohesive desig
- nIdentify technical constraints, risks, and dependencies early in the design lifecycl
- eReview and contribute to the data model, workflows, security design, and interface structure
- sOwn the solution design decision log and participate in design governance and review forums
- Provide architecture guidance throughout configuration, testing, and deployment phases
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or large-scale system desi
- gnDeep understanding of SaaS platforms and their integration within enterprise ecosyste
- msExperience designing solutions for Procurement, Sourcing, P2P, Contract Management, or SRM platforms (GEP SMART preferred, or comparable platforms like iValua, Ariba, SAP, Oracl
- e)Proven ability to work across functional, technical, and business tea
- msExperience with integration architecture, including API design, middleware, and security protoco
