Solution Architect (Java & AWS)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect specializing in Java and AWS to lead the design and implementation of cloud-native applications. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to develop scalable and secure technical solutions that meet business objectives. This role involves translating complex requirements into architecture documents and facilitating technical discussions. Responsibilities Translate business goals into scalable and secure technical solutions compliant with enterprise architecture standards Drive architecture vision across application, integration, and infrastructure layers Apply best practices in architecture using microservices, serverless, and event-driven design patterns Prepare and present solution architecture documents including solution architecture documents, assessments, and roadmaps Facilitate brainstorming and whiteboarding sessions with clients and internal teams Conduct technical reviews and design validations to ensure solution quality Lead customer technical discussions and architecture workshops Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture with business needs Ensure architecture addresses non-functional requirements such as performance, security, scalability, and availability Create detailed architecture artifacts including solution diagrams and work breakdown structures Advise on cloud-native and serverless solutions design and implementation Drive architectural decisions across technology domains including data, security, and integration ? Requirements Extensive experience (13-19 years) in solution architecture with expertise in Java 11/17+ and Spring Boot Proven background in microservices architecture and RESTful API design Strong implementation experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, Step Functions, SNS, and SQS Participation in at least three projects as a solution architect within the last five years Experience designing cloud-native applications and serverless solutions Proven ability to lead architecture discussions and workshops with clients Capability to drive architectural decisions across multiple technology domains Experience creating detailed architecture documentation and artifacts Familiarity with non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, performance, and high availability Exposure to architectural quality frameworks such as utility trees and quality attribute workshops Fluent English communication skills
