Solution Architect - Finance & ESG

Digital Product Line Management team, which is part of the global Digital department, focuses on delivering Digital global solutions for Industry 4, Finance and ESG.

We are looking for a Solution Architect, who would be responsible for designing architectural solutions that solves specific business requirements. Including infrastructure, security, integration, and test of the solutions according to existing strategies, principles and best practices to meet the organization’s current and future business needs. This involves understanding existing systems and technology, including comprehending the relationships, dependencies and flows of information.

What You Can Look Forward To In This Role

Architecture & Strategy

• Define the target architecture for Finance/ESG applications.
• Ensure adherence to standards for integration, data flows, and system governance.
• Translate Finance and Sustainability needs into scalable, maintainable solution designs.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security requirements.
  
  

Technical Application Ownership

• Take technical ownership of key Finance and ESG applications post‑go‑live.
• Oversee lifecycle management, upgrades, performance, and technical operations.
• Ensure integrations and data pipelines remain stable and compliant.
  
  

Project Involvement

• Serve as lead architect on Finance and ESG initiatives.
• Review and guide solution designs, integrations, and data models.
• Collaborate with project managers to identify risks and dependencies.
• Provide architectural direction to vendors and internal teams.
  
  

ESG Integration

• Architect ESG reporting capabilities within OneStream and related platforms.
• Support CSRD‑aligned data models, controls, and audit readiness.
• Ensure ESG data is integrated with Finance consolidation, planning, and reporting processes.
  
  

Data & Integration

• Define Finance and ESG data models, lineage, and integration patterns.
• Ensure integrations follow enterprise patterns (APIs, ETL/ELT, event‑driven).
• Partner with data engineering teams to ensure high‑quality, trusted data.
• Support business owners with continuous improvement.
  
  

What are we looking for?

• 7+ years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture within Finance IT.
• Strong understanding of Finance processes (R2R, O2C, P2P, Treasury, Consolidation).
• Experience with OneStream (including ESG modules), multiERP environments and other Finance applications (FIS GetPaid)
• Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., CSRD, GRI, SASB).
• Familiarity with Azure Data Lake and modern integration technologies.
• Ability to work across both strategic architecture and handson delivery.‑on delivery.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to bridge IT, Finance, and Sustainability.
• Experience in Application lifecycle management and proactive technical application ownership
• Experience working in an international environment with teams and stakeholders in multiple locations and time zones
• Excellent Working English, verbal and in writing
