About This Role

We are seeking a Solution Architect to design and deliver cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, with a strong focus on .NET, React, and Node.js technologies. The role serves as the technical authority within the VOIS Centre, ensuring high standards of functionality, performance, security, and resilience. The individual will collaborate closely with product owners, service teams, and development teams across locations to shape the technical roadmap, drive solution excellence, and continuously enhance application and service delivery for Vodafone stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

Define, implement, deploy, and maintain development, staging, and production environments for projects

Act as a trusted advisor by demonstrating deep expertise in cloud platforms, architecture, and application development

Analyse requirements and design scalable, reliable, and decentralised cloud solutions from concept to deployment

Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks while ensuring timely resolution of issues in collaboration with build and operations teams

Partner with management and cross-functional teams to ensure solutions deliver value and quality outcomes

Drive continuous improvement in development practices and architectural standards

Support development and deployment activities across the VOIS Centre cloud landscape

Who You Are

Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience

Brings 12+ years of experience in cloud technologies, with recent expertise (4–5 years) in Microsoft Azure

Possesses strong knowledge of cloud security, infrastructure hardening, and application security standards

Demonstrates programming expertise in C#, .NET technologies, and front-end frameworks such as Angular or React

Has experience working with SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and Graph API

Is proficient in designing, building, and managing cloud systems across PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS models

Has hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline design and implementation

Shows Strong Problem-solving Capabilities And Adaptability To New Technologies

Communicates effectively across diverse engineering teams and stakeholders, including external delivery partners

Holds (or is working towards) Microsoft Azure Solution Architect certification (preferred)
