Company Description Wadekar Solar Pvt Ltd (WSI) is a recognized provider of energy management and green energy solutions, specializing in solar power technologies. The company develops environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, and cost-effective systems designed to deliver quick returns on investment. As a photovoltaic system integrator and EPC contractor, WSI plans, builds, and operates utility-scale, commercial, and industrial solar power plants with a strong focus on on-time, on-budget delivery and optimized performance. WSI offers solutions in both photovoltaic and thermal solar technologies and has established capabilities in setting up kilowatt-scale power generation projects.
Role Description The Solar Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Nashik, responsible for leading and growing sales of solar power solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, developing proposals, and negotiating contracts in line with company pricing and technical standards. The Solar Sales Manager collaborates closely with engineering and project teams to ensure accurate system sizing, technical feasibility, and smooth project handover. Day-to-day tasks include meeting prospective clients, conducting site visits, delivering presentations, preparing quotes, and tracking sales performance against targets. The role also includes mentoring and guiding the sales team, monitoring market trends, and contributing to marketing and business development initiatives.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals in the solar or broader renewable energy sector.
- Ability to understand and explain basic technical aspects of photovoltaic and solar thermal systems to clients and stakeholders.
- Experience in client relationship management, including needs assessment, solution selling, and after-sales support.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools, productivity software, and reporting systems to manage sales activities and track performance.
- Demonstrated experience in team coordination or leadership within a sales or customer-facing environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with strong proficiency in written and spoken English; additional local languages are an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field; relevant experience in solar or power industry can substitute for formal education.
- Ability to work on-site in Nashik, conduct regular client visits, and travel within the region as required.
- Knowledge of the local solar market, regulatory environment, and incentive structures is beneficial.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and working collaboratively with technical and operations teams.
