Job Description
Job Summary:
Leafspark New Energies is seeking an experienced and result-driven Solar Sales partner to lead business development and sales operations in the Chennai region. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in solar energy sales, excellent client relationship skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive solar sales and business development across the Chennai region.
- Identify and develop new customers in residential, commercial, and industrial segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC partners, channel partners, and key clients.
- Generate leads, conduct client meetings, and close sales opportunities.
- Prepare and present solar proposals, quotations, and project solutions to clients.
- Work closely with technical and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the solar industry.
- Manage the regional sales pipeline and maintain CRM updates.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking meetings.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in solar, renewable energy, EPC, or energy-related sales.
- Strong network within the Chennai commercial and industrial sector is preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage regional sales operations.
