Job Description

Job Title: Solar Field Service Engineer – Installation & AMC

Location: Surat, Gujarat, India

Salary Range: 2,40,000 to 3,60,000 Per Annum


Job Summary:

The Service & Maintenance Executive will be responsible for managing on-site installation,

configuration, and maintenance of solar systems. This includes handling meter installations,

configuring WiFi and system settings, conducting customer training, and ensuring post-installation

Services like Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) are properly executed. The role

requires strong technical know-how, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to ensure

long-term system performance by addressing any service-related issues.


Key Responsibilities:

● Perform on-site meter installations with precision and ensure all connections and

configurations are done as per system requirements.

● Obtain signed performa from the customer after installation and service completion,

ensuring all details are captured accurately.

● Configure WiFi settings for the solar system’s monitoring portal and ensure all system

parameters are optimized for maximum efficiency.

● Provide comprehensive training to customers on system usage, monitoring, and basic

troubleshooting steps to enhance customer satisfaction.

● Create and manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) in the CRM system, ensuring

all service requests are logged and tracked efficiently.

● Perform periodic maintenance under the AMC agreement, including system

inspections, performance checks, and necessary repairs or replacements.

● Address any registered customer service requests promptly, ensuring that all issues are

resolved within the defined time frame.

Key Skills:

● Understanding of solar systems, meter installation, WiFi configuration, and parameter

optimization.

● Ability to manage customer information and service requests through CRM systems.

● Excellent communication skills to guide and train customers on system usage and service

processes.

● Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues both on-site and remotely.

● Manage multiple tasks, such as AMC service scheduling, meter installations, and service

requests, effectively
