Role Description This full-time remote Software Tester role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications before and after release. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and executing test cases, performing functional, regression, and integration testing, and documenting defects with clear, actionable details. The Software Tester collaborates with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, reproduce issues, and validate fixes. The role also involves maintaining test documentation, contributing to test plans, using test management and bug tracking tools, and providing feedback to help improve the overall testing process and product quality.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Software Testing and Quality Assurance skills, with a solid understanding of testing methodologies and lifecycle.
  • Candidates should possess Test Execution and Test Cases skills, including designing, running, and maintaining manual and automated test scenarios.
  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, with the ability to identify patterns, troubleshoot issues, and interpret test results.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar) is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with basic automation concepts or scripting languages is an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings clearly and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a distributed team setting.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
