Software tester

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester who can test web applications, websites, and mobile applications to ensure quality, performance, and reliability before delivery to clients.

The candidate should have strong analytical skills and the ability to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance problems.

This is a work-from-home position, and candidates should be comfortable working remotely and communicating with the development team regularly.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of websites, web applications, and mobile apps
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues
• Test functionality, usability, and performance of applications
• Prepare test cases and test scenarios based on project requirements
• Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved properly
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing
• Work closely with developers and project managers to improve product quality
• Maintain proper testing documentation and reports

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of software testing concepts
• Experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications
• Good knowledge of bug tracking and reporting
• Understanding of test cases and testing documentation
• Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Ability to test websites on different browsers and devices
• Good communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, etc.)
• Basic understanding of automation testing tools
• Experience testing WordPress websites or web applications

Tools Knowledge (Preferred)

• Bug tracking tools (Jira / Trello / ClickUp / Excel)
• Browser developer tools
• API testing tools like Postman

Work Requirements

• Reliable internet connection
• Ability to work remotely and attend daily team meetings
• Maintain testing reports and communicate issues clearly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 per month
