Software Tester

Job Location: On Site (West Delhi)

Role Category: Quality Assurance & Testing

Yrs Of Experience: 06 months - 2 years (Freshers also welcome)

Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and execute test cases using Azure DevOps to ensure comprehensive test coverage for software applications.
  • Perform manual testing, including smoke testing, to validate core functionality and system stability.
  • Conduct API testing to verify the functionality, performance, and security of APIs.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and backend functionality.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through the Bug Life Cycle using tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, or Bugzilla.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a Scrum and Agile methodology environment to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and compatibility testing across various platforms and devices.
  • Prepare detailed test reports and quality metrics for stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes within Scrum and Agile frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in software testing or quality assurance. (Freshers also welcome)
  • Proficiency in manual testing, SQL, API testing, smoke testing, test cases in Azure DevOps, and understanding of the Bug Life Cycle.
  • Strong experience working in Scrum and Agile methodology environments.
  • Familiarity with testing tools such as Postman for API testing and Azure DevOps, JIRA, or Bugzilla for defect tracking.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in Scrum teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
