Job Description
This role is suitable for candidates with § 3 to 7 years of experience in software testing.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for banking - digital applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration and user acceptance testing (UAT) for banking applications.
Validate banking operations including accounts, deposits, loans, payments, cards and other regulatory compliance features.
Identify, document, and track software defects using any defect management tool; Work closely with development team to ensure timely resolution.
Good communication skills to collaborate with business analysts, developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
Skills
Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and test case design techniques.
Strong knowledge in banking domain and applications.
Experience in testing retail and corporate banking applications.
Experience in API testing and solution.
Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla.
Basic knowledge in SQL and database for validating data integrity.
Experience in banking regulations and compliance requirements (RBI, NPCI guidelines).
Good to have: Knowledge on automation tools like selenium, JMeter, Load Runner
