Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ernakulam for a Software Test Engineer. The Software Test Engineer will perform key responsibilities such as developing and executing test cases, conducting manual and automated software testing, identifying and reporting defects, and ensuring the software meets defined requirements. The candidate will collaborate with software developers to ensure issues are resolved and participate in design reviews to provide testing-related feedback. Maintaining documentation for testing procedures and results will also be a part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Software Testing, Test Execution, and developing comprehensive Test Cases
• Knowledge of Software Development processes and their integration with testing
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers to identify issues and ensure quality deliverables
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail
• Hands-on experience with testing tools and frameworks is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience in the maritime or technology industry is a plus
