Job Purpose:

To assist in identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities that support the company’s growth objectives. The role involves conducting market research, generating leads through cold calling and outreach activities, visiting client offices for meetings and presentations, supporting product demonstrations, and nurturing prospective clients through follow-up communication. The intern will collaborate closely with the Business Development and Sales team to execute strategic sales initiatives, strengthen client relationships, and enhance the company’s market presence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research:

Conduct research to identify potential clients, industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities to support strategic decision-making.


  • Lead Generation & Cold Calling:

Identify and connect with prospective clients through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other outreach channels to generate business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline.


  • Client Meetings & Field Visits:

Visit client offices for meetings, presentations, follow-ups, and relationship-building activities as required.


  • Product Demonstrations:

Assist in scheduling and conducting product demos and presentations for prospective clients to showcase company offerings and solutions.


  • Sales Follow-ups & Warm Calling:

Maintain regular follow-up communication with leads and prospects through warm calls and emails to nurture relationships and drive conversions.


  • Marketing Support:

Develop and curate content for marketing materials, social media posts, promotional campaigns, and sales collateral.


  • Sales Support:

Assist in preparing business proposals, presentations, pitch decks, and client documentation for meetings and sales discussions.


  • Data Analysis & Reporting:

Compile, analyze, and present sales and market data, findings, and recommendations using Excel and other reporting tools.


  • Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the Business Development and Sales team to plan and execute initiatives that enhance brand visibility, customer acquisition, and business growth.



Job Requirements:

  • Education Qualification:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (pursuing or completed) in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Sales, or a related field.


  • Experience:

Freshers or students seeking internship experience in business development, sales, marketing, client servicing, or related domains.


Skills:

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  3. Confidence in cold calling and client interactions.
  4. Ability to conduct presentations and demos effectively.
  5. Strong research and analytical abilities.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  7. Creative thinking with attention to detail.
  8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  9. Proactive and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
