Job Description

1. Test Planning

  • Understand project requirements and specifications
  • Prepare test plans, test cases, and test scenarios

2. Manual Testing

  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
  • Execute test cases and record results
  • Identify bugs and defects in the application

3. Bug Reporting

  • Report issues clearly with steps to reproduce
  • Track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
  • Work with developers to ensure bug fixes

4. Automation Testing (if applicable)

  • Write and maintain automation scripts
  • Use tools like Selenium, Postman, or other automation frameworks

5. Documentation

  • Maintain test documentation and reports
  • Prepare daily/weekly status reports

6. Collaboration

  • Coordinate with developers, business analysts, and product team
  • Participate in requirement discussions and review meetings

7. Quality Assurance

  • Ensure product meets quality standards before release
  • Perform smoke testing before deployment
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
