Job Title: Drupal Developer (4 Years Experience) Mandatory Skills Drupal: Strong experience with Drupal 8, 9, and 10. Custom Module Development: Hands-on experience with custom services, hooks, event subscribers, plugins, and forms. Theming: Expertise with Twig templates, preprocess functions, and theme layer customization. Views & Blocks: Creating, customizing, and optimizing Views, custom blocks, and content entities. PHP & MySQL: Solid understanding of PHP 7/8 and MySQL/MariaDB database design & optimization. API Integration: RESTful API and JSON integration with Drupal. Configuration Management: Using Drupal?s configuration export/import and site deployment best practices. Version Control: Git-based workflows (branching, merging, PRs). Composer: Experience managing Drupal core and contributed modules via Composer. Security & Performance: Knowledge of Drupal security best practices, caching (Drupal cache API, Varnish, Memcache), and performance tuning. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance Drupal-based websites and applications. Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following Drupal coding standards. Implement custom modules, plugins, and themes per project requirements. Integrate third-party APIs and external services with Drupal. Work with configuration management and deployment workflows. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues. Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders. Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance. Ensure adherence to security, accessibility, and performance standards. Stay updated with the latest Drupal releases and best practices. Requirements Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 4 years of professional Drupal development experience. Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology. Good communication and documentation skills. Other / Nice-to-Have Skills Drupal 7 migration to Drupal 10/11 experience. Experience with Drupal Multisite & Multilingual setup. Familiarity with DevOps tools (DDEV, Docker, Acquia, Pantheon, or similar). Front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins). Exposure to cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of automated testing (PHPUnit, Behat). Understanding of SEO best practices in Drupal. Contribution to the Drupal community (modules, patches, forums).
