With a focus on Design, Development, & Manufacturing of Multiple Weight Class UAVs, Subsystems, & VTOL Multi-seater Air Taxis. VTOL AVIATION INDIA is looking for a Software Firmware Engineer for its Navi-Mumbai Facility. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a Software Firmware Engineer located in Navi Mumbai. The Software Firmware Engineer will be responsible for software development, software design, embedded software, debugging, and firmware tasks related to UAVs and Aerial Mobility operations. Job Description: ? Modifications in Ardupilot code and adding custom modes. ? Create and maintain mathematical models and simulations for accurate performance predictions. ? Handling and troubleshooting errors in Autopilot. ? Test VTOL models in SITL and HITL environments. ? Build HITL Test bench setup for Motor, Servos and other Firmware subsystems testing. Experience & Skills: ? Experience in Firmware Integration and Testing. ? Experience in C, C++. ? Experience in Linux based systems. ? Familiar with Mission Planner, QGCS and other ground control software?s. ? Knowledge about Communication protocols like I2C, SPI, CAN and UART. Qualifications: ?Bachelors or Masters in Electronics/Aeronautics/Firmware Engineering or equivalent and should have 2+ years of experience.
