Software Engineer Technical Lead

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Software Developer / Technical Lead with 5 years of experience to lead the development of scalable, cloud-native software products. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Python, AWS, backend development, system architecture, APIs, and databases, while also being capable of leading a team of developers and driving technical excellence.

This role requires ownership of the complete software development lifecycle from architecture and development to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced product environment and have an interest in leveraging AI/ML technologies to build intelligent applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software developers, fostering technical excellence and collaboration.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python, NodeJS.
• Design and implement secure, reliable, and high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Drive system architecture decisions with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Manage the complete software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Own application deployments and release management, ensuring smooth and reliable production releases.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Design teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and engineering best practices.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement
• long-term solutions.
• Evaluate and integrate AI/ML capabilities into products where applicable.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the
• engineering stack.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 years of professional experience in software development using one or more
• programming languages, with strong expertise in Python. Experience working with
• data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.
• 3 years of experience developing, testing, maintaining, and deploying production-
• grade software applications.
• At least 1 year of experience in software design, system architecture, and scalabl
• application development.
• Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native application development.
• Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and design patterns.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment practices.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience integrating AI-powered services
• into applications.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized applications.
• Experience working with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), vector
• Databases, or AI frameworks.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.
• Experience building SaaS or enterprise-scale applications.
• AWS certifications are a plus.
