Software Engineer, Assurant, GCC-India

In this role, applicants are responsible assisting with various development activities mainly focused on Oracle PL/Sql development and assisting in PHP based web development. If Candidate has any additional knowledge in Java Spring boot will be an added advantage. The absolute primary focus of this position is to help with the development of business software for our clients. To excel in this role, you should ideally possess experience in software development, web frameworks, self-motivation, excellent communication skills and meet scheduled deadlines. You must be a logical thinker with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, coupled with knowledge of warehouse operations.

This position will be in Gurgaon (India).

Work Timings: 8:00 AM IST ~ 5:00 PM IST.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

• Able to develop PL/Sql code across multiple databases Oracle, Mysql
• Able to work on web framework using PHP
• Develop various integration modules between system
• Able to trouble shoot, document and unit test the developed code
• Able to help in Data and Reporting support role
• Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the company.
  
  

What are the requirements needed for this position?

• 5+ years' experience of SQL, PL/SQL, in relation to the Oracle and Mysql RDBMS - Intermediate to Advanced.
• 1+ years’ experience of Web programming using PHP or Java framework
• 1+ years' experience of Unix: knowledge of scripts, commands etc. – Basic
• Worked with Git or Version Control software
• Experience with CD/CD pipelines
• Report designing experience, Jasper Reports preferable - Basic.
• Experience with handling data, loading data from different sources into Databases.
• Teamwork
