Role Overview Job Description ? SAP CI-DS Consultant We are seeking an experienced SAP CI-DS (Cloud Integration ? Data Services) Consultant to design, implement, and support data integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP landscapes. The role involves developing secure, scalable, and high-performance integration flows, managing data migration activities, and ensuring seamless connectivity between cloud and on-premise systems. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and implement SAP CI-DS interfaces for data integration, transformation, and migration scenarios. Work with business stakeholders and functional consultants to analyze integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes between SAP and non-SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, BTP, third-party apps). Configure connectivity (OData, SOAP, REST, JDBC, SFTP, APIs) between source and target systems. Implement and optimize data replication and real-time/batch integration. Ensure data quality, validation, and governance during integration and migration projects. Perform monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of CI-DS jobs and connections. Document technical design, mapping, and deployment steps. Support AMS activities: incident resolution, change requests, and enhancements in CI-DS. Collaborate with SAP BTP Integration Suite, CPI (Cloud Platform Integration), and other middleware teams as needed. Required Skills & Experience 3?6 years of experience in SAP Data Services (BODS) or SAP CI-DS. Hands-on expertise in CI-DS design, ETL workflows, and data migration projects. Strong understanding of SAP data models (FI/CO, SD, MM, HCM, SuccessFactors, etc.). Experience with cloud and hybrid integration scenarios. Proficiency in SQL scripting, data mapping, and transformation logic. Familiarity with integration protocols (REST, SOAP, IDoc, OData, JDBC, SFTP). Experience with BTP Integration Suite is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in Agile/DevOps environments with CI/CD pipelines.
