Software Engineer - Java/Spring Boot

Job Title: Software Engineer - Java/Spring Boot Location: Plevenn Technologies, Hyderabad Department: Engineering Job description: At Plevenn Technologies, as a Java Developer you will build next generation SaaS products and platform. In this role, you wil work closely with product managers and senior engineers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality, cloud-ready software solutions. Qualification: Bachelors degree in computer science or related technical fields, or equivalent practical experience Over 2 years of experience with software development in relevant full-stack technologies. Good verbal and written communication skills. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot, WebFlux). Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Collaborate with product and design teams to analyze and refine requirements. Implement clean, maintainable, and testable code following Agile and TDD principles. Develop data access and persistence components using MongoDB and other databases as needed. Work with reactive Java applications, multi-threading, and modern design patterns for performance and scalability. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD automation, and performance tuning. Ensure applications meet standards for security, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate within a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment. Required Skills: Languages/Frameworks: Java, Spring Boot, WebFlux, REST/GraphQL APIs. Core Concepts: Multi-threading, I/O, design patterns, and domain-driven design. Databases: NoSQL (must have), SQL databases (nice to have). Server & Deployment: Experience with Netty, Nginx, or Apache HTTP Server. Cloud: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud environments. Practices: Agile methodology, TDD, CI/CD pipelines, automation. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
