Software Engineer in Test

We are Hiring: SDET Engineer (Immediate - 15 Days): Pune Location: 3-8 Yrs of Experience Job Description: We are looking for skilled Test Automation Engineers with strong hands-on experience in modern testing frameworks and tools. Below are the detailed requirements: 1. Automation Expertise - Proficient in Cypress or Playwright using JavaScript (Node.js) for end-to-end web application testing. - Strong experience in API test automation through code (not Postman), leveraging Cypress or Playwright for deeper integration and control. - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable test scripts, suitable for SDET roles requiring hands-on coding is mandatory 2. Technical Proficiency - Solid programming skills in JavaScript. - Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control systems for seamless integration and deployment. - Experience in DevOps environments, including: - Working with Docker images - Configuring GitLab CI/CD - Writing and managing YAML files - Familiarity with test management tools like IBM Jazz, Quality Center, or similar platforms. 3. Quality & Process Orientation - Excellent communication and analytical skills for effective collaboration and problem-solving. - Proven experience in testing web-based applications across diverse domains. - Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and modern software testing practices, contributing to iterative development and continuous improvement. 4. Additional Skills (Nice to Have) - Knowledge of IoT devices and networking is a strong plus, especially in environments involving hardware-software integration and real-time data validation. - Experience with NFR (Non-Functional Requirements) testing using tools like: K6 , Sitespeed.io Strong coding skills (JavaScript, Java, Python, etc.) Test automation expertise (e.g., Cypress, Playwright) API and backend testing Performance and NFR testing CI/CD and DevOps integration Active participation in Agile development cycles
