Role Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET / Senior SDET) to own end-to-end quality assurance and test automation across our product suite. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building scalable automation frameworks, partnering closely with engineering teams, and driving near-zero defect outcomes in a fast-paced Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Own all testing deliverables across functional and automation testing Design, create, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts Build and maintain automated test suites for both UI and API modules Design and develop automation frameworks and enhance them as features evolve Deliver test automation as part of Agile Scrum sprints Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and schedule regular execution Identify defects, work closely with developers on fixes, and validate resolutions Actively participate in sprint ceremonies and quality reviews Drive continuous improvement with a strong focus on minimizing customer-reported defects Operate with high ownership in a startup-style, high-collaboration environment Required Skills and Qualifications: Engineering degree in Computer Science or related field 4 to 6 years of experience in SDET or Test Automation roles Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes Hands-on experience in writing detailed test cases, test plans, and defect tracking Strong programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript Hands-on experience with UI automation tools such as Playwright or similar frameworks Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, and Chai Proven experience designing test automation frameworks from scratch Strong knowledge of Git/GitHub, code reviews, and code coverage tools Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially Jenkins Experience working in Agile Scrum environments Good-to-Have Skills: Experience with non-functional testing such as performance, stress, and scalability testing Experience testing large-scale web applications Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS platforms and cloud environments such as AWS Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes Experience with enterprise ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Workday Understanding of OAuth and Single Sign-On Familiarity with MySQL and Elasticsearch Experience using Chrome Developer Tools for debugging What the Role Offers: Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI-based enterprise products High-impact role with strong ownership and visibility Collaborative, fast-moving engineering culture Competitive compensation and equity participation Comprehensive health benefits and flexible work arrangements
