As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking (Wealth Management), you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm?s business objectives. Job responsibilities Job Responsibilities Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance Participate in a digital technology project from concept to implementation, and through all phases of the software development lifecycle Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application development Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills Formal training or certification on IOS concepts and 3+ years applied experience Hands on experience on iOS development using Swift Proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, CoreData, Combine, and other iOS frameworks. Experience working in system design, architectural patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER, etc.), and design principles. Experience in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) Use of Frameworks and APIs like Foundation, UIKit, CocoaTouch, Core Data. Experience in using Xcode provided tools like Debug Memory Graph, Debug View Hierarchy, Instruments for Profiling. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills 5+ years experience designing and implementing iOS applications 5+ years of combined software/application development experience in Swift and Objective-C Excellent written and oral communication skills Degree in Computer Science or related degree from an accredited university or five years equivalent development experience. Knowledge of Cloud technologies (AWS, Firebase, etc.) Familiarity with TestFlight, Swift Package Manager, CocoaPods, and dependency management
