Process Overview: AML Data platform is the one stop shop of all the consumer, small business and mortgage transactions to give a holistic view of transactions along with the Channel, instrument and posting information. This information increase the ability of the bank to manage AML risk in a consistent fashion across all business lines with less cost possible. Job Description: Looking for a candidate to fulfill the role of a Developer and he/she should be fully competent to work under general direction on complex projects that have an assigned goal and should be able to proactively work with senior associates and manager as required. Typically required 3-6 years of applicable experience. Knowledge of AML processes experience is desirable. Individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for the global tech functions of RFT. He/she will need to collaborate with a large set of stakeholders in India and the US , independently work in projects with complete accountability, display a high degree of influencing skills , work closely with project teams, internal stakeholders in devising creative approaches to solving business problems and enhance team engagements. Responsibilities Work as an individual contributor for enhancements to AML applications using in Cloud era CDP, Hive /Impala, HDFS and Python Being able to participate actively in Design/Solution phases of the project. Knowledge on spark can be added advantage. Requirements Education: B.E./ B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech/BSC/MSC/BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization) Certification if any : NA Experience Range: 5-9 yrs Foundational skills* Hands-on experience with Big Data Technologies - HDFS, HIVE and PYTHON & Spark Strong working knowledge of Pyspark and Hadoop technologies RBMS (Oracle, Teradata,) knowledge for development using SQL/PL SQL Shell scripting experience Comfortable with Unix based systems Experience in Cloudera CDP, Hive /Impala, Spark, HDFS, Python, Teradata Experience with fully integrated SDLC development environments Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Experienced in technical design with a strong background/track record of working in a high performance environment. Ability to understand business requirements and develop software solutions Strong experience with data warehousing and Extract Transform Load (ETL) tools Agile project management (SCRUM, SAFe) methodologies Desired Skills Financial Services Industry experience.
