From our earliest days as a pioneer of modern transportation, we have sought to make the world a better place ? one that benefits lives, communities and the planet Job Title: Software Engineer III- Core Senior Engineer Location: Chennai Work Type: Hybrid Position Description As a Senior SAP BASIS & BTP Platform Expert, you will be a pivotal member of the Client's PS&L SAP Platform services PDO. You will be instrumental in ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of our SAP BTP environment, acting as the primary point of contact for technical operations related to the platform and its integrated services. This role requires deep hands-on experience in SAP BASIS principles applied to cloud environments, with a strong focus on BTP account and subaccount management, service provisioning, connectivity, monitoring, and supporting key BTP technologies such as Integration Suite, CALM, Datasphere, SAC, and Build Workzone. You will collaborate closely with development, architecture, and application teams to enable seamless and secure cloud operations. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage SAP BTP global accounts, directories, and subaccounts, ensuring optimal structure and resource allocation. Provision, configure, and administer a wide range of SAP BTP services. This includes working with and providing technical support for services like SAP Integration Suite (IS) (e.g., Cloud Integration, API Management), SAP Cloud Application Lifecycle Management (CALM), SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP Build Workzone, among others. Establish and maintain secure connectivity between SAP BTP and on-premise/other cloud systems using technologies like SAP Cloud Connector, VPN, and Private Link. Monitor the health, performance, and resource consumption of SAP BTP services and underlying infrastructure, implementing proactive measures for optimization. Perform technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex issues related to BTP services, connectivity, and performance. Manage BTP entitlements, quotas, and service instances efficiently. Implement and maintain BTP security best practices, including trust configurations, destination management, and principal propagation from a technical BASIS perspective. Automate BTP operations and administration tasks using tools and scripting (e.g., BTP CLI, APIs). Collaborate with architects and development teams on BTP solution design, deployment strategies, and operational readiness. Stay current with SAP BTP innovations, roadmaps, and evolving cloud platform administration best practices. SAP BASIS and HANA Database Administration. Skills Required SAP Basis Skills Preferred SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD, SAP S4 HANA, SAP Netweaver Experience Required Senior Engineer Exp: Prac. In 2 coding lang. or adv.
