Job Details Position Title: Software Engineer II Career Level: P2 Job Category: Senior Associate Role Type: Hybrid Job Location: Bangalore About The Team Impact The Payments and Cards team is a group of competent , multi-skilled professionals who have championed the domain as well as the technology involved in the 5+ years since the team’s inception. They work as a team to conquer all kinds of challenges and are fully determined to get the job done , holding themselves to the highest standards of workmanship / craftsmanship always as they execute their projects. New joiners can be sure to learn so much about domain and technology thanks to the free flow of information and mentorship provided by seasoned IT professionals who have been part of this team for so long. The integrations (applications) built by the person playing this role helps drive transformation goal for the organization by significantly improving the ways the Payments/Cards-onboarding had been handled previously. Key Deliverables (Duties and Responsibilities) 5-7 years experience building enterprise applications. Drive complex technical efforts (solutioning) across one or more engineering teams in Cards or Payments team. Application design and technical ownership new integrations or enhancements to existing integrations. Strong coding experience in Java Microservices, Spring Boot deployed on OpenShift Build the code and deploy/promote it into various pre-prod environments using CICD / Devops. Troubleshooting / triaging issues in production and pre-production enviromentl Keeping all development (preproduction) environments operational . Strong deployment experience on Containers as well as server platforms. Strong development experience with RDBMS and/or NoSQL databases Expert at Java design patterns – SOLID principles, , Integration patterns. Contribute to and drive best practices. Fix Quality issues and work closely with Quality and business partners to ensure timely collaboration and resolution. Fix vulnerability issues reported by automated tools or Quality team members. Create documentation to hand off the developed software to App Support teams. Provide deployment support to the Application-support team .
