We are seeking a Software Engineer II for a client who will play a crucial role in designing, building, scaling, and operating large-scale distributed systems. Your strong analytical and debugging skills will be essential in ensuring the robustness and reliability of our systems. You will thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and will possess a strong bias towards action and delivering results, all while maintaining a keen eye for high-quality work.

What you'll do:
- Design, build, scale, and operate large-scale distributed systems
- Utilize strong analytical and debugging skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
- Demonstrate a strong bias towards action and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Adapt quickly to changing environments and new technologies
- Work proficiently with Unix-based systems
- Leverage expertise in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Go, or C++, to develop and maintain software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements
- Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of the systems you build and maintain
- MS/PhD in Computer Science with a strong programming background
- Strong analytical and debugging skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Ability to take initiative and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in working with Unix-based systems
- Expertise in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, or C++
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- A passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

- Salary - $130K - $165K
- Offers Equity (Final offers are based on job-related skills, experience, location, and internal equity. Base salary is just one part of our total rewards package, including stock options and the opportunity to share in the company's growth.)
