Software Engineer II (Backend)

We’re looking for passionate, collaborative, data-driven individuals to join our Product team. We are a team of tinkerers, builders, and dreamers working together to make car ownership accessible, simple, and delightful. In this role, you will work closely with the engineers, designers, and other business stakeholders to help build and improve products for our customers, employees, or partners.

What will you do:

• Contribute to all aspects of an agile software development lifecycle including design, architecture, development, documentation, testing and deployment.
• Build cutting-edge scalable systems by writing simple and efficient code.
• Push your design and architecture limits for new product development.
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science engineering, preferably from Tier 1 Institutes.
• 2 – 4 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications on backend technologies for large scale cloud-based applications.
• Strong understanding of Data structures, algorithms, system design along with exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Python (strongly preferred) / Java / GO / Kotlin / Rust
• Experience with database design; SQL (PostgreSQL / MySQL), & NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra).
