Role Summary: We are seeking a Software Development Engineer for the backend engineering team in the post-dispatch vertical at ClickPost. You will be a core member of the team playing a vital role in developing the vertical through product developments, feature additions, scale-up and scale-out enhancements, system reliability and end-to-end user experience enhancement s. Expectations from the Role: Proficiency in backend development. Strong understanding of backend technologies such as Java/Python, databases, Kafka, messaging systems,etc. Ownership: The individual should take full technical ownership of the product, including analyzing support issues, addressing onboarding concerns, and driving feature development . Tech Stack We Work On: Backend: Java, Python Database: SQL, NoSQL Messaging Systems: Kafka, RabbitMQ Other Technologies: Microservices architecture, Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), CI/CD pipe lines Why Join ClickPost?s Engineering Team? What You Will Need to Crack This Role: Strong backend development experience in Java or Python. Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases. Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems. Ability to take ownership of technical challenges and work independently. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize backend oper ations.
