Software Engineer

Job Purpose and Impact: The Professional, Software Engineering job maintains and partners to design and develop software applications and systems. With limited supervision, this job collaborates with cross functional teams to implement new software features to meet user needs and business goals and upgrade existing software to improve performance and functionality through writing clean, efficient and scalable code and troubleshooting and debugging moderately complex issues. This job also participates in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge with software engineering team members. Key Accountabilitie s:SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT: Partners to design and develop high quality software solutions by writing clean, maintainable and efficient code s.AUTOMATION: Applies internal software deployment platform, methodologies and tools to automate the deployment process, ensuring smooth and reliable release s.COLLABORATION: Partners with cross functional team of product managers, designers and other engineers to gather moderately complex requirements and deliver solutions that meet business need s.TESTING & DEBUGGING: Writes and maintains moderately complex unit tests and integration tests, and performs debugging to maintain the quality and performance of the softwar e.CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Makes suggestions for improving the software development and deployment processes, and implements the approved standards to improve efficiency and reliabilit y.DOCUMENTATION: Drafts and maintains comprehensive documentation for moderately complex software applications, deployment processes and system configuration s.TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Provides technical support and troubleshooting for moderately complex issues with deployed applications to ensure minimal downtime and fast resolutio n. Qualificati ons:Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experie nce.Proficient of SAP ABAP, understanding of SAP system architect ure.Experience in SAP new RAP, CAP, business API HubData analysis and visualization tools: Experience with tools like SAP Fiori, Powe r BIOther Programming languages: Experience in Python, JAVA, and SQL.Cloud platform knowledge: Understanding of cloud-based ERP solutions and platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cl oud.
