For more information, visit Lowes India About The Team Enterprise Item Engineering team is responsible for building the platform and services that enables lowes suppliers and lowes merchandizing partners to onboard and manage their products to be listed on lowes.com, stores and multiple other selling channels. This team delivers best in class customer experience to our suppliers and internal customers by implementing high performant, reliable and intuitive systems to manage entire product lifecycle, insights and analytics to suppliers and merchandizing partners. Job Summary The primary purpose of this role is to translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs and to deliver code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions. This includes developing, configuring, or modifying integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments. This role will be working closely with stakeholders and cross-functional departments to communicate project statuses and proposals. Roles & Responsibilities Core Responsibilities: Collaborate with the engineering team, product team to understand project requirements and objectives. Design and implement scalable and efficient backend solutions. Develop and maintain APIs to support other Intergrated systems Integrate data storage solutions and ensure optimal performance. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Responsible for writing code, system & integration testing, ensuring deployments to various environments Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring high levels of application performance, security, and scalability. Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in development. Years Of Experience 1+ year of experience with Google, Azure Cloud or any other cloud technology (Integration, Cloud Management). 2+ years? experience in Restful API development using Design first approach. 2+ years? experience with spring data JPA demonstrating flexible integration with datastores 2+ years of experience applying Agile development practices and CICD pipeline (Jenkins, Ansible). Experience with integration development using REST APIs and Messaging/Event Streaming technologies such as Kafka/MQ. Experience utilizing open source technologies such as Kafka, Docker, relational (Hadoop, Oracle, SQL) and NO SQL (MongoDB, Postgresql and ElasticSearch) databases, to build cloud-based products. 2+ years? experience with flexible core development using spring boot and ORM with dependency injection without configuration. 2+ years working experience with logging and reporting frameworks and tools. 2+ years? experience with Monitoring and Instrumentation products like Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana. Experience with modularizing logging using logback and log4j 1+ year Open Shift, Kubernetes and Managing Deployment of Solutions Very good knowledge and strong working experience on Spring boot and Maven Projects builds. Experience working on various file formats such as JSON, AVRO, XML & Flat File based structures Responding to all stakeholders with required application details as requested. Reporting & Metrics on response & resolution SLA of Incidents. Issue and Risk Log monitoring. 2+ years? experience in coding and testing frameworks ? junit, mockito, BDD, TDD, sonarqube. 2+ years? experience implementing spring security frameworks. 2+ years? experience with RESTful APIs and gateway & orchestration services. Security and Performance enhancement. Monitor metrics such as utilization to identify possible performance issues/enhancements. Work with project manager as necessary regarding issues such as server down-time.
