Job Description

This position will be dedicated to supporting AV integration with the Symphony platform. This position is also responsible for supporting the development of advanced software for Enterprise Accounts that requires global deployment of AV control systems.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that meet our business needs. This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, best practices, and the ability to lead complex projects from conception to completion.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for ServiceNow implementation.
  • Solution Architecture: Design and architect ServiceNow solutions that align with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Development: Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and CMDB.
  • Integration Hub: Utilize Integration Hub to connect ServiceNow with external systems and automate workflows.
  • Flow Designer: Create and manage complex workflows using Flow Designer to streamline business processes.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage ServiceNow projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Best Practices: Implement and promote best practices for ServiceNow development, including coding standards, security, and performance optimization.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of solutions, configurations, and customizations.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and other team members on ServiceNow functionalities and best practices.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations and customizations
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
  • Keep up to date with latest ServiceNow, functionalities, and industry trends.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

Skills And Abilities

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with at least 2 years in a Solution Architect role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), UI policies, business rules, and client scripts.
  • Integration Hub: Strong experience with Integration Hub, including designing and implementing integrations with external systems.
  • Flow Designer: Expertise in creating and managing workflows using Flow Designer.
  • Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, or similar certifications are preferred.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • ITIL Knowledge: Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Education And/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and customization
