Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Alfresco BAU Support Engineer to provide day-to-day operational support, enhancements, and minor development for Alfresco-based Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms. The role focuses on ensuring stability, resolving production issues, and delivering small enhancements in a BAU environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide BAU and production support for Alfresco ECM applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, configuration, and code-related issues
  • Develop and enhance content models, metadata, aspects, and search forms
  • Perform Alfresco SDK–based development including behaviors and Java customizations
  • Develop and maintain Web Scripts, scheduled jobs, custom components, and widgets
  • Customize Alfresco Share UI to support business requirements
  • Support deployments, patches, and minor upgrades across environments
  • Analyze logs, identify root causes, and implement permanent fixes
  • Collaborate with business users, QA, and infrastructure teams
  • Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Alfresco Content Services (ACS)
  • Proficiency in Java and Alfresco SDK development
  • Experience with content modeling, behaviors, and search configuration
  • Hands-on experience with Web Scripts, Jobs, and custom Alfresco components
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in BAU/production environments
  • Experience with Alfresco Share customization
  • Knowledge of Spring, REST APIs, XML/JSON, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Linux, application servers, and databases
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise Alfresco deployments
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms
  • Prior experience in L2/L3 production support roles
