Role Description We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our team and help build the next generation of AI-driven cybersecurity solutions at Seceon.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining backend applications and platform features that support our cybersecurity products. You will write clean, efficient, and secure code, improve system performance, and develop APIs and backend services that enable real-time threat detection and automated response.

You will work closely with product managers, data scientists, DevOps engineers, and other developers to understand business requirements and deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performance software solutions. The role also involves participating in code reviews, troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing application performance, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.
  • Experience in Software Development and Programming, with proficiency in at least one modern language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C++).
  • Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integration.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
  • Experience with secure coding practices and an interest in cybersecurity, threat detection, or security analytics is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
