Actively Reviewing

FinOpsly

Bengaluru Full-Time 1–2 yrs exp Posted 1 month ago  · Apply by Jul 18, 2026

FinOpsly is an AI-native Value-Control™ platform for cloud (AWS, AZ, GCP), data (Snowflake, Databricks), and AI economics, built to help enterprises move beyond passive cost visibility to active, outcome-driven control. The platform unifies technology spend across cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks), and AI workloads into a single system of action—combining planning, optimization, automation, and financial operations.

Role Summary

FinOpsly is seeking a technically proficient SDET to design and execute both automated and

manual quality solutions across our AI-native platform. This role requires a unique balance

of software automation, rigorous data validation, and exploratory manual testing. You will

ensure the reliability of our modern Nest.js/Next.js stack and Snowflake data models while performing critical manual audits on financial accuracy and user workflows.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and implement scalable, maintainable automation frameworks for API, UI, and data testing.
  • Execute rigorous manual exploratory testing on new features before automation to ensure business, logic is sound, and user flows are intuitive.
  • Build and maintain scalable test frameworks for REST APIs (Nest.js/PHP) and modern web frontends (Next.js/React) using Playwright or Cypress.
  • Numerical Validation: Perform manual and automated validation of SQL queries in Snowflake, specifically scrutinizing cost metrics and anomaly detection for ' commonsense' errors.
  • Embed automated quality gates into GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines to catch regressions at the PR level.
  • Manually and automatically validate complex user journeys ensuring multi-tenant data isolation and dashboard accuracy.
  • Lead root-cause analysis for escaped defects and collaborate with engineering triage and resolution.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4–6 years of experience in software testing with a strong background in both manual and automated methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of the SDLC and mastery of various testing types (functional, regression, sanity, and exploratory).
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript; experience with or willingness to learn PHP for legacy systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar modern frameworks.
  • Data & SQL Mastery: Strong SQL skills with experience validating complex data aggregations and financial metrics in Snowflake.
  • An exceptional eye for catching numerical errors and edge cases within complex financial data outputs.
  • High ownership and the ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience testing anomaly detection, forecasting models, or large-scale data-driven systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud cost management, billing cycles, or cloud-native infrastructure.
  • Exposure to performance, load, and resilience testing for high-traffic SaaS platforms.
  • Basic understanding of security scanning and vulnerability testing for web applications.

What You Will Gain

  • FinOps Domain Expertise: Master the intricacies of cloud financial management and ROI across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Snowflake.
  • AI/ML Quality Engineering: Learn to test and validate intelligent multi-agent systems and predictive forecasting models.
  • Full-Stack Visibility: Work across a diverse tech stack while helping define quality standards for a high-growth SaaS platform.
  • Work alongside a supportive, diverse group tackling fresh challenges and pushing boundaries in AI-native FinOps
  • As an early-stage team member, you will have a direct path to leadership roles as the engineering organization scales, with the chance to define our global quality engineering standards.
