Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Automation Developer (SDET) to join our team. The candidate should have strong experience in Playwright automation, C#/.NET development, and API testing. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for both web applications and backend services while ensuring high-quality software delivery through continuous testing and CI/CD integration.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright with C#/.NET.
Create and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Develop and maintain automated tests for frontend applications and backend REST APIs.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand business requirements and define test strategies.
Perform API validation using tools such as Postman and automation frameworks.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality assurance.
Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
Review requirements and participate in design discussions to ensure testability and quality.
Maintain automation code repositories using Azure DevOps Repos.
Contribute to test framework improvements, coding standards, and automation best practices.
Generate test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.

Technical Skills

Required Skills & Qualifications

Hands-on experience in Playwright automation testing.
Strong programming skills in C# and .NET.
Experience in REST API testing and automation.
Experience testing both Frontend UI and Backend APIs.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
Experience using GitHub for source control and collaboration.
Proficiency in Postman for API testing and validation.
Strong experience with Visual Studio development environment.
Knowledge of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and automation best practices.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.

Added Advantage

Knowledge of Python scripting and automation.
Experience with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) methodologies.
Hands-on experience with Cucumber or similar BDD tools.
Familiarity with Visual Studio Code.

Education

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Instrumentation.
