Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Intern

Actively Reviewing

Visit Health

Noida Internship Posted 1 month ago  · Apply by Jul 18, 2026

We’re hiring SDET Interns at Visit Health.

And to be clear - we are not looking for traditional QA interns who just want to execute test cases and log bugs.

We’re looking for people who think like engineers. People who like getting into the weeds. People who enjoy understanding how systems break. People who can write code, build automation, debug issues, and improve reliability at the product and infrastructure level.

At Visit Health, we’re building healthcare infrastructure at scale. We serve millions of users across primary care, wellness, insurance, and OPD, and we’re now investing in building a much stronger Quality Engineering function as part of our next phase of growth.

This is why this role matters. For us, quality is not a final checkpoint. It is part of engineering itself.

Our SDETs don’t sit on the sidelines. They work closely with developers, write automation code, improve test frameworks, strengthen CI/CD pipelines, investigate production issues, and help teams ship with confidence.

So if you’re someone who sees testing as an engineering discipline — not a fallback option — this role could be a great fit.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong coding ability in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java
  • Hands-on exposure to automated testing, not just manual testing
  • Familiarity with tools/frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Jest, Mocha, or pytest
  • Comfort with REST APIs, Postman, Git, pull requests, and code reviews
  • Strong debugging instincts
  • Bonus if you’ve explored SQL, performance testing, open-source contributions, or AI-assisted coding tools

Over 6 months, you’ll work directly with our Senior Test & Automation Engineer, contribute to real automation systems, and grow toward a full-time SDET role.

This is a role for people who want to:

  • write real code
  • build useful tooling
  • own quality problems end to end
  • and become stronger engineers in the process

Role details:

  • Role: SDET Intern
  • Location: Noida, work from office
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Outcome: Potential conversion to full-time SDET

How to apply:

If this sounds like you, send your resume plus a detailed bug report on the Visit experience across Android, iOS, and Web to [email protected].

The sharper your observations and thinking, the stronger your application.

If you know someone who would love building quality as an engineering problem, send them this.
