For more information, visit www.rategain.com. Exploring the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Engineer II (Frontend). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. As the Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our software projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. How Your Day Will Look Like/Job Responsibilities: Successfully take over the development & enhancement of the assigned components in a high-throughput distribution system. Leverage robust open-source technologies to improve maintainability in terms of time & cost. Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript Identify and fix bugs in the application. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in production and development environments. Successfully develop solutions that help us integrate RateGain products with our partners. Document software designs, technical specifications, and test cases. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and cross-team collaboration. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, identifying opportunities to leverage new tools and techniques to improve our software development processes. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies. Establish and enforce engineering standards, processes, and methodologies to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality software. Education & Work Experience: 3-5 years of progressive experience with React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript Bachelor?s or master?s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Knowledge: Strong Knowledge of Next.js, Node.js, and GraphQL for building modern web applications. Comprehensive experience working in cloud environments, including AWS and GCP. Skills: Extensive expertise in React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for developing dynamic and responsive web applications. Proven experience in designing, developing, and integrating APIs to enhance application functionality. In-depth knowledge of database technologies, with strong proficiency in NoSQL or SQL (MySQL and Postgres) Attitude: Strong ownership mindset. Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
