SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - Placer / Router /Timer EDA Development The Role AMD Hyderabad is looking for experienced EDA tool developers with a strong background in C/C++ development to join their FPGA Architecture team. This opportunity will allow individuals to explore the complexities of FPGA Architecture and modeling, as well as tinkering with Placer and Router. If you have experience in C++, EDA, algorithms, FPGA, Architecture, interconnect design, placer, router, this could be the perfect opportunity for you The Person The ideal candidate should be excellent EDA tool developer with good understanding of hardware. Key Responsibilities Own architecture's feature evaluation Develop and maintain FPGA architecture evaluation tools Propose and drive PPA & routability evaluation methodology/tools of future architectures Propose software optimizations that can be leveraged in future architectures Preferred Experience Strong object-oriented programming background, C++ & Python preferred with 15yrs of experience Integer Linear Programming Placer / Router / Timer EDA tool development Good understanding of hardware Machine Learning Academic Credentials Bachelor?s or Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
