Role Overview

Job title: Software Development Engineer

Location: Hyderabad (hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the execution of software development projects by owning assigned modules, delivering high‑quality outputs, and providing regular progress updates to the team lead.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and help refine functional and technical specifications.
Collaborate with international teams in English to support global initiatives, share knowledge, and ensure smooth cross‑team coordination.
Participate in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of new services and software components, while supporting enhancements to existing systems.
Use version control tools such as GitHub to manage code changes and follow established branching and review processes.
Manage development tasks using Jira, ensuring accurate ticket updates, tracking, and adherence to workflow practices.
Support development and deployment activities on Azure Cloud (preferred) to improve scalability, reliability, and performance.
Participate in CI/CD and SDLC processes using tools such as Jira and Jenkins to support automation and delivery efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

Strong programming skills in PL/SQL with experience using Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
Solid understanding of Spring / Spring Boot for enterprise application development.
Proficiency with version control tools like Git or SVN for collaborative development.
Practical experience using Jira for task tracking and workflow management.
Strong English communication skills for working with global teams; basic understanding of IELTS concepts, certification preferred.
Exposure to Kafka integration is a plus, especially for real‑time data streaming use cases.
Experience working with SDLC and CI/CD tools such as Jira and Jenkins.
